Our appraisal team assists our agents, as well as works with many major financial institutions to determine real value of your property. They are members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, the premier real property valuation association in Canada. The education, experience and life long learning requirements that the AIC has put in place ensure that the real value expert you hire will provide you with the most professional valuation, expertise and opinions in the marketplace. 


Loren Knopf

CRA, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Loren joined the Royal LePage Landry's Real Estate team in 2003 and obtained his Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation in 2005, from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. The CRA designation permits the valuation of residential properties up to 4 unit dwellings. He has resided in Kenora since 1984 and enjoys both summer and winter. 

Dave Holland

Candidate Member, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Dave has been in Kenora since 1976 and has 14 years of real estate experience. He is now on the appraisal side of the industry and looks forward to serving the community and our clients. Dave has raised a family here in Kenora and enjoys the lake, fishing and golfing. Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions, Dave is always open to assisting you. 

Alyssa Edison

Candidate Member, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Alyssa was born in Kenora and has lived in the area for most of her life. She attended local area schools and participates in many different sports and outdoor activities. Alyssa became a licensed real estate professional in 2007. She worked in the real estate field for several years, and while she has maintained her licensing requirements, has become a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2014. Alyssa would be pleased to hear from you, whether it is for buying, selling, or appraising your property. 

Shelby Gustafson

Candidate Member, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Shelby has worked at Royal LePage Landry's for the last several years as a summer student and most recently as the Appraisal Assistant. As her interest peaked, Shelby sought to reach the next level in the industry. 

Shelby went to school in Kenora, attended the University of Manitoba, and is now enrolled in the Real Estate Valuation program at the University of British Columbia, Sauder school of business. Shelby is looking forward to this new phase of her work experience and also assisting clients in their appraisal needs. 

Elizabeth Turner

Candidate Member, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Elizabeth is originally from Winnipeg and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, followed by a technical writing program. She went on to work in many different sectors in various cities across Canada before making Kenora her home in 2011. She began her career with Royal LePage Landry's as an Appraisal Assistant, where she gained valuable industry knowledge. In 2019 she became a Candidate Member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is currently completing her education at the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys adventurous travel with her family and hiking in the forests of Northwestern Ontario.

Leslie Barr

Candidate Member, Appraisal Institute of Canada

Leslie was born and raised in the Rainy River District. She retired as an Elementary School Principal in December 2015. Leslie began taking Real Estate courses in October 2016 and became a registered Real Estate Sales Representative in May 2017. Previously, Leslie worked with Tichbornes Real Estate in Fort Frances from June 2017 to June 2019. She transferred her Real Estate licence in June 2019 to Royal LePage Landry's for Real Estate Kenora Brokerage. Leslie became a Candidate Member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2019. Leslie will continue to work in the Rainy River District providing Real Estate Services as well as Property Appraisal Services. 

Rob Grycko

AACI, P. App

Rob was awarded the use of the CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation in 1990 and the AACI (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute) and P.App (Professional Appraiser) designations in April 2017. Rob has gained valuable experience in Kenora and Northwestern Ontario areas since 2015 appraising several hospitality industry properties including hotels/motels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants and tourist/fishing camps. Other appraisal experience in the region includes multiple family housing, non-profit housing, industrial-use properties, mixed-use buildings, waterfront and re-development sites, offices and retail properties.
